One of the areas that I have found professionally most useful is the EdTech with Lisa Nydick sessions. Throughout the conversations and presentations, I have learned far more about AI than I ever thought that I would want to know. That being said, the Canva sessions have been incredibly helpful for me. As a Principal I have become far more creative thanks to the tools that I have learned to use during her sessions. As a result I have created designs for staff appreciation, get togethers, tailgating, school events, newsletters and so much more. All of this has been learned thanks to the sessions with Lisa. I used to feel pretty good about my knowledge of technology, but the times have certainly changed since I was in the classroom. I had not really ever embraced the changing times and had ended up behind, leading to me becoming stale and boring. Now I feel refreshed. While I am not as immersed or bought into AI as much as others, I have embraced Canva and am doing my part to continue advancing a positive culture and climate, for our students, staff and school!
