Our MSD unit recently enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of Corvette models, learn about the history of the car, and discover how engineering and design come together in the automotive world. The experience was both engaging and meaningful, allowing students to connect classroom learning to real-world applications.
Following the trip, students completed a poster project to reflect on their experience. Each student created a drawing of their favorite part of the museum, such as a specific Corvette, the sinkhole exhibit, or interactive displays. They also included facts they learned during the visit, helping to reinforce their understanding and recall of the trip.
The finished posters, as shown in the display, highlight students’ creativity and individual perspectives. This project not only strengthened comprehension but also encouraged self-expression and pride in their work. I am very proud of the effort and enthusiasm our students showed throughout this experience!
