3rd Annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Party

Morgan County Schools partnered with the Morgan County Public Library to celebrate literacy and community during their 3rd Annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Party on March 12, 2026. This event brought together families, educators, and students for an evening focused on the joy of reading and the importance of early literacy.

High school and middle school student volunteers played a big role in making the event a success. They dressed as Dr. Seuss characters, painted faces, read Dr. Seuss stories to younger children, and helped serve refreshments. Their leadership and willingness to give back to their community helped create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who attended and inspired students of all ages to discover the excitement that comes from reading.

Events like this highlight the power of community partnerships and the positive impact student leadership can have in promoting literacy and building stronger connections throughout Morgan County.
